Fist Fest West was held at the fabulous Canyon Club this year and was filled with hot men from all over the U.S., Europe and Australia. In fact, the surrounding hotels were all booked up, there were so many attendees. The kick off/registration was held at the Tool Shed Bar and was a lot of ffun! In fact it was a bit of a Meat Market. More photos from the weekend.
Mr SF Leather Meet & Greet

Folsom St Fair 2012
How to describe the Folsom Street Fair except as a sort of one day Burning Man for the BDSM crowd. It’s a chance for all types of people to come together for a day and share their kinks with no judgement (well not much). It’s not perfect because of all the tourists who just come to gawk, but the majority of attendees are wearing their colors, costumed in some interesting/weird way or showing lots of skin, tattoos and piercings.
The longer you live in San Francisco, the more you begin to accept alternative realities. There’s a reason “Westward, ho!” was a battle cry for pioneers, and not just for people leading their hooded partners around by a leash down Folsom St. People come here from more repressive parts of the nation and globe to reinvent themselves, and to be free. As a result, the fair is an adult-only event celebrating alternative sexuality. This was the 29th annual fair and it continues to attract a huge crowd. For a slide show, click on photo above.
Falcon & Raging Stallion Studios VIP Party
The Falcon and Raging Stallion Studios VIP Party was a huge success. Mezzanine was packed with fans and the studios’ porn stars. Trenton Ducati, Jason Michaels, the incredibly sexy Derek Parker, Leo Forte, Christopher Daniels, James Ryder and Element Eclipse danced for fans during the party and some of them also appeared on stage with Erika Schiff. Mr S Store Party – Folsom Edition
Mr S Leather held their annual in-store party the day before the Folsom Street Fair and the place was packed with guys from all over the world, porn stars, friends and the very helpful employees of Mr S. It was all hands on deck as guys snapped up the latest gear to wear out to the many parties and of course the Fair itself. Several vendors were on hand as well to answer questions and demonstrate their products. Scott from SquarePeg Toys was on hand and the maker of the Fat Boy cock sheath by Perfect Fit Brand was there. The lines to check out and for the free beer were very long all day, but everyone was having a good time and no one seemed to mind. For more photos of the party, click on the photo above.
Dore Alley/Up Your Alley 2012
After a long, sunny afternoon South of Market for the Dore Alley Fair, I was burnt to a crisp. Yes, I forgot my sunscreen (again)! Despite the burn, it was a wonderful day, filled with men’s physiques and lots of sexual energy. This local and smaller version of the Folsom Street Fair is a great way to let off some steam in a safe, public and healthy way.
It was great to see so many men wearing their leather, the BDSM demonstrations, the porn stars and more. Oh and did I mention Naked Twister! It was truly naked this year, with porn stars and guys from the crowd participating and taking it all off! To see more photos, click on the photo above. Mr S Leather Store Party (Dore Alley Weekend)
Always a fun time, the Mr S Leather Store Party on Saturday was a hot time as frisky men shopped and hung out with friends. With Up Your Alley or as the locals call it, Dore Alley happening the next day, it was tough to make a decision on what outfit or accessories to buy. With tons of new items, the shopping baskets were filling up quickly. Watching the boys try on jocks, wrestling singlets and leather was a blast. Of course there were hard dicks everywhere, which is what is supposed to happen when you put on fetish gear. To see more of the fun, click on the photo.
San Francisco Pride Parade 2012
The 2012 San Francisco Pride theme was “Global Equality” and it was interesting to see how it was interpreted by the various groups that marched. There certainly were a lot of contingents. One hundred and ninety nine plus some protesters made for a very long parade. I waited for the Leather Contingent which finally came by at about 3pm. There were many long gaps in the parade and lots of people got tired of waiting. Don’t know where the “Gap Police” were this year!
Dot Jones from Glee, Sarah Silverman and Carmen Carrera were the celebrity grand marshals and Sister Roma was one of the Individual Community Grand Marshals. The Grand Marshals are the public emissaries of Pride. They represent a mix of individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community. With the help of community input, Pride selects these groups and individuals as Grand Marshals in order to honor the work they have put into furthering the causes of LGBT people. Mr S Locker Room Party
One year ago Mr S Leather remodeled part of the store to put in a locker room with sports themed clothing and underwear. Today they celebrated the one year anniversary of the locker room with an in-store party. Lots of hot guys packed the store and DJ Ken Vulsion provided tunes to shop and play by. The Golden Gate Wrestlers were on hand to do wrestling demos in the latest gear from N2N, Timoteo and ES. Anyone who wanted to get some pointers or go a round were welcome as well.
The dressing rooms were overflowing with frisky guys trying on gear and in many cases they just changed out on the sales floor! There were refreshments of course and lots of friends stopped by to say hello and hang out for awhile. To see more photos from the party, click on the photo.
LA Pride 2012
With a reenergized vision that included a vibrant pool party, top name talent on two stages, 5 dance venues and the colorful Pride Parade, LA PRIDE for 2012 shattered attendance records with well over 400,000 in West Hollywood for the parade. Molly Ringwald was the Grand Marshall this year while The Trevor Project was selected as the 2012 Community Grand Marshal. With an army of volunteers across the country, The Trevor Project’s life-saving services, like the Trevor Lifeline are always there when a young person needs to talk live because they are facing a crisis or considering suicide. The organization also manages TrevorChat, a secure instant message service allowing young people to connect with a counselor online, and TrevorSpace, a social network specifically for LGBTQ teens and young adults with 32,000 members from 128 countries around the world.
