The Mr San Francisco Rubber 2018 competition was held at the SF Eagle on October 14th and Nicholas Watson emerged as the winner. Congratulations Nicholas!
The Mr SF Rubber contest was well attended and moved along at a quick pace through the questions and answers followed by the raffle and then the announcement of the winner. This is definitely one of the best contests out there in terms of fun. To see photos from the contest, here is the link.
After 21 Lazy Bear gatherings in Guerneville, it just gets better and better. Running from August 2nd through to the 7th, hundreds of bears and their admirers packed Guerneville. There were pool parties, wine tours, dances, bonfires and much more. My view of fourth street afforded me a ring side seat to the parade of men as they went from pool party to pool party. Its so refreshing to see men secure in their skin to sashay down the street in nothing more than a speedo. Lazy Bear does bring a wonderful variety of men together for camaraderie and fun.
The new organizers for this year’s Lazy Bear were, David Barker, John Jacob, Steve Adams, Fred Bothe and Trey Sheldon, plus a host of volunteers and they all did a great job. Thank you guys! Tags are on sale for 2018 and Lazy Bear runs from August 1 to 6 next year. Check out the Lazy Bear website.

I had the pleasure of working with Derrick to get him some new shots for his website. You can see more of Derrick here. (NSFW)
The “estate” sold just a few weeks before Lazy Bear Weekend, so the organizers moved the Sunday Furry Sunday party to Johnson’s Beach this year. It was the second time that Johnson’s Beach had hosted a Lazy Bear event, but the Sunday party was the biggest event they had hosted. It went smoothly for the most part, but the beer ticket lines got to be really long later in the day and the umbrellas sold out, so finding shade was a challenge.
Ultra Naté was the headline performer and was very personable and posed with anyone wanting a selfie or who wanted to get a kiss from her. The singer, songwriter, record producer, DJ and promoter achieved success on the pop charts with songs such as “Free”, “If You Could Read My Mind” (as part of Stars on 54), and “Automatic”, all of which she performed for the enthusiastic crowd.
The photos from the day are available here. Until next year guys!
Up Your Alley, the dirty little brother to the Folsom Street Fair was packed with hot and hunky leathermen. And yes there was nudity and hard dicks. The Steamworks Naked Twister didn’t disappoint either. The MC was making sure that the game lived up to its name as all the contestants got naked and into some very compromising positions. When the sun came out, the medical stations were popular as they were giving out free sunscreen and in some cases, the cute EMTs were helping apply it. Hot indeed! More photos from the day follow here. (NSFW)
Up Your Alley (Dore Alley) weekend brought out the boys from all over. I met guys from Australia, Germany, Great Britain, Texas, Washington, Oregon and from all over California. Everyone loves a party and Dore Alley doesn’t disappoint. Recon was putting on before and after parties as well as their famous Bay of Pigs party on Saturday night. The afternoon was spent getting warmed up for the fun later. Check out the guys having some fun (NSFW).
This was the 32nd annual Folsom Street Fair and it was attended by an enthusiastic crowd of leathermen, drag queens, doms and subs, voyeurs, tourists and more. I really wonder what brings the tourists. Are they looking for information, or do they get off on being suburban suzie surrounded by all the kink? As an example, there was a very hot muscled man, in just his tight fitting boxer briefs and boots with a couple of women and another guy. His friends were all dressed in street cloths, so that made me wonder why they were at Folsom St. I should have just gone up to him and asked.
Whatever brought the large crowd of around 400,000, it was lots of fun and the weather was perfect. It was warm enough that if you wanted to be naked, it was very comfortable. Here are some highlights from the day.
If its Folsom Weekend, then Mr S Leather is having an in-store party with lots of boys, beer and gear. As the guys shop and enjoy themselves, lots of them just drop their pants and have a good time. Here are the photos.
The largest pool party of the weekend was the culmination of a great Lazy Bear Weekend. DJ Rotten Robbie provided the dance tunes for this party and no one was in a hurry to leave. The weather was perfect and the everyone was having a great time. Here are the photos.
