After 21 Lazy Bear gatherings in Guerneville, it just gets better and better. Running from August 2nd through to the 7th, hundreds of bears and their admirers packed Guerneville. There were pool parties, wine tours, dances, bonfires and much more. My view of fourth street afforded me a ring side seat to the parade of men as they went from pool party to pool party. Its so refreshing to see men secure in their skin to sashay down the street in nothing more than a speedo. Lazy Bear does bring a wonderful variety of men together for camaraderie and fun.
The new organizers for this year’s Lazy Bear were, David Barker, John Jacob, Steve Adams, Fred Bothe and Trey Sheldon, plus a host of volunteers and they all did a great job. Thank you guys! Tags are on sale for 2018 and Lazy Bear runs from August 1 to 6 next year. Check out the Lazy Bear website.

The pool party was indeed an extravaganza, in a great setting with DJ Rotten Robbie playing the disco greats. Warm weather, a beautiful pool, lots of hot bears, it was a perfect afternoon. There are tons of photos from the party,
